DOWNLOAD SYSTEM FOR CELLULAR PHONE USING PERSONAL DATA BASE

PURPOSE: A download system for a cellular phone using a personal DB(data base) is provided to save telephone charge and search a song easily by downloading MIDI(Musical Instrument Digital Interface) files of selected songs in a personal homepage or DB. CONSTITUTION: A service provider gathers many kinds of songs in a music DB(Data Base)(30) using authoring tools such as a MIDI(Musical Instrument Digital Interface) file. Manipulating PC(10), a user connects to a Web server(20) and searches the DB(30). The user selects songs in the music DB and registers the selected songs in a personal homepage or DB(40). The user connects to the personal homepage or DB(40) and chooses a song which the user wants to download. The user assigns a telephone(60) through a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) gateway(50) and receives the selected song to the assigned phone.
