PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling a feed distance of the head of a dot printer is provided to precisely perform the sensing operation of a sensor and control a feed distance of the head finely with a first level which finely move in association with a second lever and an adjustment screw. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling a feed distance of the head of a dot printer includes a head feed block(20) connected to a feed bar(22) traversely mounted on a main frame(10) for linearly moving along the feed bar and mounted with a head(24) at one side, a sensor(30) mounted at a lower part of the other end part of the head feed block and linearly moving integrally with the head feed block for sensing a feed distance of the head, a first lever(40) connected to one side of the main frame for moving to and fro and having a first sensing plate(42) positioned on a movement line of the sensor to be sensed by the sensor, a second lever(50) mounted at the other side of the main frame and having a second sensing plate positioned on a movement line of the sensor to be sensed by the sensor, and an adjustment screw(60) coupled at one side of the main frame to move the first lever finely.
