PURPOSE: A venting device of compressed coolant gas in a hermetic rotary compressor is provided to illuminate all kinds of losses and noises caused by a venting valve and to save a producing cost. CONSTITUTION: As a vent hole(120) is closed, the compressed coolant gas inside a cylinder(100) is not vented. In this state, when a vane(100B) is straightly moved by the revolution and rotation of a rolling piston(110), a coolant venting channel becomes equal to the vent hole(120) formed in the cylinder so that the vent hole is opened. The compressed coolant gas inside the cylinder is vented outside through the vent hole. When the coolant venting channel of the vane is out of the vent hole by the rotation and revolution of the rolling piston, the vent hole is closed. Accordingly, the compressed coolant gas inside the cylinder is not vented.
