PURPOSE: A welding method and a welding device are provided to omit a temporary welding to induce a rising of welding cost and a reduction of welding quality and to restore the rising of welding cost and the reduction of welding quality by preventing a thermal change of welding. CONSTITUTION: A welding device(30) is equipped with two detecting sensors of interval(38,39) arranged in both ends of a welding point. Detecting sensors of interval(38,39) are composed of a 'U'-shaped variable member formed by an elastic steel plate, magnets to stick both ends of the variable member in welding plates(21,22) by offering in both ends of the variable member and a measurer of change to measure a changed amount of the variable member. A measuring signal from the measurer of change is transmitted to a controller(37). The controller calculates a moved amount of assistant torches(35,36) by comparing signals of two interval detecting sensors(38,39) and moves assistant torches(35,36) through driving units of assistant torches(33,34).
