PURPOSE: A muffler coupling structure of a compressor is provided to easily manufacture and assemble and to be securely coupled. CONSTITUTION: A muffler coupling structure includes a first muffler (80), a second muffler (90) and an elastic member (46). The first muffler (80) is inserted into a piston (41) which reciprocates within a cylinder (40) by linear-reciprocating driving force generated from a motor mechanism portion installed in a sealed container (10). The first muffler (80) guides a gas to flow into the cylinder (40) and has a first engaging portion (82) at a side thereof. The first engaging portion (82) contacts a cross-section of the piston (41). The gas sucked at a suction pipe coupled to the sealed container (10) is guided to flow into the first muffler by the second muffler (90). The second muffler (90) has a second engaging portion (93) on a side thereof. The second engaging portion (93) is in surface contact with the first engaging portion of the first muffler (80). The elastic member (46) elastically supports the movement of the piston (41) while urging and securing the surface-contacted first and second engaging portions (82, 93) to the cross-section of the piston (41).
