PURPOSE: A receiver of television remote controller and a method thereof are provided to receive a signal transmitted from a remote controller having at least two different signal waveforms. CONSTITUTION: A receiver of television remote controller includes a microcomputer(6), a receiver(7), a head waveform analyzer(10), a signal waveform analyzer(11), and a code decoder(12). The microcomputer(6) includes a program for a specific operation according to a control signal from the remote controller. The receiver(7) receives the frequency signal from the remote controller. The head waveform analyzer(10) detects the waveform of the head signal included in the signals from the receiver(7). The signal waveform analyzer(11) analyzes a second signal waveform after the head signal. The code decoder(12) modulates the input signal from the signal waveform analyzer(11) and outputs the modulated signal. |
