PURPOSE: An apparatus for testing channels between a sub controller and a device in the switching system is provided to test channels on a bus installed between a sub controller and a device in state that the device is not connected. CONSTITUTION: A switching system equipped with an apparatus for testing channels between a sub controller and a device is composed of a telephony processor(210) and a first to a fourth channel distributors(220-250). The telephony processor(210) as a sub controller comprises a HIT_BUS interface part(211). The first to the fourth channel distributors(220-250) having a function to distribute channel information transmitted by the channel unit of 16 HDLC(High Data Link Control) continued from the telephony processor(210) comprises loop back test apparatus(221,231,241,251) to test channels on a bus.
