PURPOSE: A contact pressing structure of a vacuum interceptor is provided to use a pressing spring which has a smaller spring force by pressing the rear end portion of a converting lever in the form of a leverage. CONSTITUTION: A pressing spring(41) which resiliently presses contact points(25,25') is installed at a mechanism section. The rear end portion of a converting lever(28) is pressed in the form of a leverage, so a pressing spring(41) which has a smaller spring force can be used. Further, even when the pressing spring(41) is damaged due to the generation of the fatigue, a case of the mechanism section is separated, and the device can be easily repaired.
