PURPOSE: A rotor of a brushless DC motor is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost of the motor by using a silicon steel plate instead of using a brass plate. CONSTITUTION: A rotor is a core on which a silicon plate is continuously stacked. A permanent magnet(13) is installed in a rotor core(11). A silicon steel support plate(14) is stacked on the both side surface of the rotor core(11). An opening(18) is formed the silicon steel support plate(10). The opening(18) forms a jaw(19) to prevent the deviation of the permanent magnet(13). To prevent the deviation of the permanent magnet(13), a silicon steel plate is used instead of a brass plate.
