PURPOSE: A dielectric composition and a preparation method of multi-layered ceramic capacitors are provided, to lower the sintering temperature and reduce the shrinkage between a dielectric layer and a Ni internal electrode. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric composition comprises BaTiO3, SrZrO3, Y2O3, MgCO3, Nb2O5 and Li-Ca-Si-O-based sintering agent, and the content is represented by the formula a BaTiO3 - b SrZrO3 - c MgCO3 - d Y2O3 - e Nb2O5 - f Li_x Ca_(1-x/2) SiO3, wherein a is in the range of 91.40 to 94.55, b is in the range of 0.45 to 3.40, c is in the range of 0.2-9.0, d is in the range of 0.05 to 2.0, e is in the range of 0.05 to 0.70, and f is in the range of 1.0 to 3.0. A multi-layered ceramic capacitor is prepared by mixing BaTiO3, SrZrO3, Y2O3, MgCO3, Nb2O5 and Li_x Ca_(1-x/2) SiO3 and drying the mixture; adding a binder and a solvent to the mixture to prepare slurry; forming the slurry in the shape of a sheet; printing a Ni internal electrode on the sheet, layering the printed sheets and pressing it; cutting the layered one in regular size and baking it out to remove the inner binder; sintering it at 1100-1200°C; and forming an external electrode at the both terminal of the sintered body.
