PURPOSE: A method for an auction on the internet with a fixed highest price is provided to bid off a bidder without a conflict among bidders suggesting nearest bidding prices to the highest price, by previously designating the highest price of a product to make the bidders bid prices under the highest price. CONSTITUTION: A method for an auction on the internet with a fixed highest price comprises the steps of: if a user registers a bidding price under the highest price, storing the bidding price; deciding whether nobody bids for a price same with the bidding price and whether the bidding price is a middle/highest price; if one bidder satisfies the bidding price, displaying the bidder as a successful bidder.
