PURPOSE: An audition method and system by using network for determining popularity rating are provided to reduce cost by giving chance to become a singer to all the people who desire to be a singer and by enabling common netizens to verity talent as singer previously by using equipments of singing rooms which are scattered nationally and communication network. CONSTITUTION: An audition by using network and system and method for determining popularity rating includes several steps. A first step is to receive audio information from member singing room site(3) connected to a center site(10). A second step is to download the audio information to several netizen sites(5) connected to the center site(10). A third step is that netizens(40) do a popularity vote based on the downloaded audio information and transmit them to the center site(10). A fourth step is to sum up the results of the vote and determine the popularity ranking. The audio information consists of voice information recorded in member singing rooms(3) and picture information photographed by a digital camera.
