PURPOSE: A device for collecting sludge in the settling pond is provided, which is characterized in that a water supplying device composed of wires and scraper is installed so that concentrated sludge can be treated perfectly. CONSTITUTION: A device is composed of a motor(1) for controlling the velocity of the wire rope, a rotating device(7,6,5) which has several grooves, and a device for controlling tension of the wire rope. The device can move without wheels due to a specific device in shape of sliding shoe, and a scraper for collecting sludge is installed, which is made of stainless steal. The collected sludge is crushed by crushing device before discharging. The device for collecting sludge is installed at the bottom of the settling pond so that sludge can be removed perfectly and concentrated sludge is crushed at the same time.
