PURPOSE: An apparatus for managing a walsh code channel in a mobile communication system of a code division multiple access(CDMA) and method for the same are provided to improve quality of a phone call, by minimizing a stress applied to an input end of an amplifier in a base station, and a distortion of a signal at an output end of the amplifier therein. CONSTITUTION: A channel transceiver(1A) includes transmitters for processing each channel of the CDMA to be a base band signal and converting the signal to a radio frequency(RF) signal, and receivers for converting the RF signal received via an antenna to the base band signal. A part(1B) manages a CDMA channel, and performs control functions related to a channel and communication. A global position system(GPS) receiver(1C) receives time data which is necessary for a system synchronization from a satellite, and transfers it to the channel transceiver(1A) and part(1B). A packet router(1D) transmits the voice packet information of a subscriber from the channel transceiver(1A) and the packet information from the part(1B) to a network, and sends the packet information from the network to the transceiver(1A) and part(1B). |
