PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing D channel data in a switching system is provided to divide transmitted message frames into D channel packet data and D channel signal data within a signal board. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing D channel data in a switching system comprises an interface board(210) and a control board. The interface board divides an E1 frame applied from other station to a B/D channel, multiplexes a corresponding B/D channel. In addition, the interface board transmits the multiplexed corresponding B/D channel as a serial type through a data bus, and divides the B/D channel by demultiplexing transmitted data of the serial type. The control board controls the divided B/D channel data transmitted from the interface board.
