PURPOSE: A shopping mall operation system and method is provided to offer a more reliable goods information and enhance the usage of the contents by closely relating the shopping mall with the contents on the company and the goods treated in the shopping mall. CONSTITUTION: A shopping mall operation system comprises a contents server, a shopping mall server and a matching server. The contents server stores and searches headlines of newspaper or magazine articles and their contents. The shopping mall server stores and manages the goods information. The matching server matches the goods information of the shopping mall server with the article contents of the contents server. The shopping mall operation method comprises steps of a user accessing the contents server, searching for an article from the contents server, the contents server sending the searched headline, the user clicking a goods name or a company name among the searched article, the matching server requesting the goods information to the shopping mall server and displaying the requested goods information, the user clicking a purchase button and performing a conventional electronic commerce process.
