PURPOSE: A mat producing method using pattern piece is provided, which forms a mat using a manufacturing process of an inlaid pattern piece or an inlaid pattern piece, can be stored keeping original form of the mat without damaging the patterns and colors after using for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A mat with pattern pieces inserted is formed by expressing patterns to mat made by using wood, bamboos, raw lumber, plastics, metals or crystals using a manufacturing process of an inlaid pattern piece or an inlaid pattern piece. A producing method of the mat comprises a first step getting a thin skin pattern piece sheet(10) by fabricating each other a pellicle pattern piece of separated state of the inlaid pellicle pattern piece or the inlaid pellicle pattern piece, a second step making a pattern board(110) by the pellicle pattern piece, a third step getting a unit piece material(200) formed by fabricating single assembly pieces(100) alternately, and a fourth step getting a mat completed by assembling the unit piece material by turns.
