METHOD FOR IMPROVING FREQUENCY LINEARITY OF VOLTAGE ADJUSTING OSCILLATOR

PURPOSE: A method for improving frequency linearity of a voltage adjusting oscillator is provided to analyze the frequency feature of the oscillator and improve the frequency linearity without using PLL(Phase-Locked Loop). CONSTITUTION: A method for improving frequency linearity of a voltage adjusting oscillator comprises the steps of: applying a linearly modulated signal to a modulator(2); sampling output signals and then calculating a discrete fourier modification to acquire frequency spectrum; deciding control voltage in order to cause the voltage adjusting oscillator(1) to have linear frequency spectrum using the frequency spectrum and then storing the voltage value in a memory; and generating control voltage using the value stored in the memory.
