PURPOSE: A preparation method of weight for scuba diving is provided, which is harmless to marine ecosystem by substituting Pb. CONSTITUTION: A preparation method of weight for scuba diving is characterized by: (1) mixing paraffin with a mixture incorporating 73 wt.% of Al2O3, 14 wt.% of activated clay, 8 wt.% of taic, 4 wt.% of CaCO3, 1 wt.% of Cr at a ratio of 1 : 99; (2) forming the compound under the pressure of 150-250 ton; and then (3) calcining the form prepared from step 2 at about 1450°C for about 14 hours.
