PURPOSE: A numerical control method is provided to prevent discontinuous action by operating communication speed again by considering the speed depending on the consequence from an optimum speed operating unit. CONSTITUTION: A program input unit(10) converts a numerical control program for a processing device into a new program and a shape recognizing unit(20) recognizes the processing shape of a structure from the numerical control program. The shape recognizing unit finds out a path with an occurrence error larger than the set permissible one. The optimum speed is produced by operating the speed and distance based on the set permissible error. A speed re-operating unit(40) compares the transfer speed between a program output unit(60) and a control system of a numerical control mechanism. Then, the speed re-operating unit reduces the processing speed with a driving motor to meet the processing speed to the transfer speed if the two speed values are not equalized. The program output unit converts the code to a numerical control command block into a new one and saves it in a buffer. Finally, the buffer sends the converted block to a communication port.
