PURPOSE: A game upgrade method in a portable phone is provided to download a game program stored in the computer to a portable phone. CONSTITUTION: If a portable phone game data management program command from a key input part is executed(201), the CPU of a computer displays an initial screen on the monitor(202). Checking the input of a game program file name, the CPU displays the game program file on the monitor(203,204). The CPU checks whether a game downloading key is inputted(205). If the game downloading key is inputted, the CPU transmits a game data receiving request signal through a second connection part(206). The CPU checks whether a receiving ready signal is received(207). If the receiving ready signal is received, the CPU transmits the game program file displayed on the screen of the monitor to a portable phone(208). The CPU checks whether the transmission of the game program data has been completed(209).
