PURPOSE: A concurrent heating method of a tundish is provided to simplify a nitrogen heating apparatus for heating a tundish, to recycle heated nitrogen and to improve a continuous casting process and quality of production by preventing external air from percolating the tundish. CONSTITUTION: Nitrogen is heated up to 1500°C with heat from a high-temperature thermal storage body and introduced into a tundish. After heating the tundish, the temperature of nitrogen falls down to 1300°C and then to 250°C by heating a low-temperature thermal storage body. The nitrogen continues to circulate with a ventilator(36). A case(33) for a rotary thermal storage body rotates and functions to exchange heat between a combustion container(34) and four fixed chambers(35). After that, the case rotates clockwise and heats the tundish. Finally, the case is preheated by re-collecting heat from the nitrogen of 1300°C and returns to the original position.
