PURPOSE: A dynamic range compensator is provided to sufficiently compensate the dynamic range without signal distortion of input audio sound. CONSTITUTION: A dynamic range compensator comprises a transistor(Tr), first and second comparator(20,21), an OR gate(22), a signal delay(30), a signal processor(50), a voltage control amp(90) and a micom(60). The comparator(20,21) compare levels of input signals with a reference level. The signal delay(30) delays OR operated signals for a constant time. The signal processor(50) process level lowered signals. The voltage control amp(90) amplifies input analog audio signals in accordance with control signals. The micom(60) controls the gain of the voltage control amp(90).
