PURPOSE: An apparatus for an advertisement using a pager and a vacuum fluorescent display is provided to transfer news and advertisement to a user in real time, by adopting the vacuum fluorescent display(VFD) for illustrating graphics, various fonts and pictures. CONSTITUTION: An information provider transmits data using a transmission protocol and wireless call via an internet to a pager of a user. The user selects desired news and advertisement of the data received from the information provider via a wireless call receiver(1), using a switch(6). A CPU(2) separates the selected news and advertisement and stores them in a video RAM(3), font RAM(4) and graphic RAM(5). If the reception and storage are completed, the stored data is displayed on a VFD(7).
