PURPOSE: A method for acknowledging key input in televisions is provided to ignore same key inputs in a predetermined time interval to compensate for the error of the contact between key buttons if front mask for TV and that of remote controller. CONSTITUTION: A method for acknowledging key input in televisions includes first thru forth steps. At the first step(S3), whether control signals are repeatedly input from a key pad on a front mask or on a remote controller is determined. At the second step(S5), whether the repeated control signals is same is determined. At the third step(S7), the time interval between control signals is detected, and whether the time input is shorter than a reference time is determined. At the forth step(S8), the control signals after the first control signal is ignored. |
