PURPOSE: A multi-value recording optical magnetic medium is provided to record by a multi-value in a blue band as well as in an infrared and red band using a new recording layer. CONSTITUTION: A multi-value recording optical magnetic medium forms a signal amplifying layer on a board. A first, second, third and fourth recording layer are formed on the signal amplifying layer. A dividing layer is formed between each recording layer and a protecting layer is formed on the top layer. Herein, a Co/Pt super lattice multilayer thin film or a Co/Pd super lattice multilayer thin film is used as a material for the recording layer. The thickness of a Co sublayer is 4 angstrom. Each thickness of a Pt and a Pd sublayer is 9 angstrom. The recording layer near the board has the lowest absorption and reflection and the highest permeability. The recording layer far from the board has the highest absorption and reflection and the lowest permeability. |
