PURPOSE: A polyamide pattern yarn and process for producing thereof are provided which has excellent color and gloss, and inexpensive cost by using a polyamide. CONSTITUTION: A polyamide pattern yarn has 5-8 wing portion from circular portion. The polyamide pattern yarn has a relative viscosity of 2.45-2.65, and has a strength of 2.5-4.5g/d. The polyamide pattern yarn has a diameter of circular portion of 0.2-0.3mm, a length of wing portion of 1.0-3.0mm and a diameter of wing portion of no more than 0.1mm. When the relative viscosity of polyamide polymer is less than 2.45, strength of fiber is too low, thereby the fiber is cut. When the relative viscosity of polyamide polymer is higher than 2.65, strength of fiber is too high, thereby a needle for pattern is destructed. |
