PURPOSE: A gland sleeve having a reinforced abrasion resistance is provided to improve the abrasion resistance in the friction between a gland packing by coating a ceramic material on an outer surface of a gland sleeve for expanding the lifespan of the gland sleeve, and reduce the substitution of the gland sleeve and degrade of performance of a conveying element for preventing decrease of the rate of operation. CONSTITUTION: A gland sleeve having a reinforced abrasion resistance includes a ceramic material(11) coated on a frictional surface with a gland packing and a gland sleeve(10) mounted on a rotation shaft and compressed by the gland packing for preventing leakage between the rotation shaft and a casing as a fixing part, for reinforcing heat resistance and abrasion resistance, wherein the ceramic material includes oxide and carbide ceramics
