PURPOSE: A beam scanner with linearity compensation capability and a method for compensating linearity of the beam scanner are provided to detect the linearity of scan beam and compensate the linearity after the assembly of the beam scanner is finished. CONSTITUTION: A beam scanner with linearity compensation capability includes a light source(20), a deflection disk(30), a plurality of reflection mirrors(101,102), an optical sensor unit(110), and a controller. The light source(20) emits light corresponding to a plurality of colors. The deflection disk(30) is implemented to rotate freely, and deflects the light emitted from the light source using a deflection paste and a compensation paste. The reflection mirrors(101,102) reflect the light deflected by the deflection disk and changes the path of the light. The optical sensor unit(110) is in bar type and includes an optical sensor(111).
