PURPOSE: A liquid display panel using thin transistors and a method for manufacturing the display panel are provided to prevent gate lines from being connected to data lines. CONSTITUTION: A liquid display panel using thin transistors includes an optically transparent dielectric substrate, a plurality of gate lines, a pair of buffers, an activator, a first and a second dielectric layers, a gate electrode, a first thru forth contact holes, a data line, a drain electrode, and a conduction link. The plurality of gate lines are arranged parallel to one another. The pair of buffers are formed on each regions divided by the gate lines. The activator is formed on the substrate to cover the buffers. The first dielectric layer is formed on the surface of the substrate. The gate electrode is formed between the buffers and overlaped the activator.
