PURPOSE: A system and method for providing tax information by using the internet is provided so that users may know a tax to be paid, by receiving a calculation result of the tax based on documentary evidences from related offices, such as the city hall and district offices. CONSTITUTION: A system server(10) connects to the internet for providing tax information to information users. A plurality of information user terminals(30¯34) connect to the system server(10) through the internet for receiving the tax information service. A plurality of information search terminals(20¯24) are aligned to every region of the country, for example, cities and districts, connect to the system server(10) through the internet, and are employed by information searchers who prepare necessary documentary evidences for calculating a tax amount and input a basic tax calculation data and a calculation result.
