APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR WIRELESS RECEPTION/TRANSMISSION OF RING SIGNAL AND VOICE SIGNAL IN CELLULAR PHONE

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for wireless reception and transmission of a ring signal and voice signal in a cellular phone are provided to allow a user to have a phone call without operating the cellular phone when a call signal is received from the other person, by equipping the cellular phone and an ear phone with a wireless receiver and transmitter which can receive and transmit the voice signal and ring signal, respectively. CONSTITUTION: A fixed radio transceiver(4) includes a transmitter(8a) and receiver(9a). The transmitter(8a) has a plug(3) separatively coupled to a jack(2) of a cellular phone(1), and converts the voice signal and ring signal from the cellular phone(1) to transmittable radio signals. The receiver(9a) wirelessly receives the voice signal from a mobile radio transceiver(5) and supplies it to the cellular phone(1). The mobile radio transceiver(5) includes a transmitter(8b) and receiver(9b). The transmitter(8b) converts the voice collected at a microphone(7) to a transmittable radio signal. The receiver(9b) converts the voice and ring signals to be sent to the fixed radio transceiver(4), to a signal that can be output to an earphone(6). The earphone(6) outputs the voice and ring signals transmitted to the mobile radio transceiver(5), to an outside. The microphone(7) collects user's voice to supply it to the mobile radio transceiver(5).
