The sealing arrangement comprises a sealing ring (5) and a pressure compensating mechanism (19) which are arranged between a slide ring sealing space (8) and the pump inner chamber. The sealing ring lies on the rotary parts (14,22) of the pump and is made of a high polymer plastics. The pressure compensating mechanism is formed as an opening arranged between the slide ring sealing space and the pump inner chamber. The mechanism is arranged next to a discharge pipe (9), and securely lies on the sealing ring.
