MOLDING MATERIALS USING IRON MAKING SLAG

PURPOSE: Molding materials are provided, to recycle steel making slag by using the slag as a source material and to improve impact-resistance and compression strength of the molded products. CONSTITUTION: A molding materials comprise 100 parts by weight of steel making slag; 10-30 parts by weight of cement; 0-20 parts by weight of rubber-based latex; and optionally 0-20 parts by weight of calcium carbonate. High-value molded products such as a concrete brick, a cement brick, and a tile can be produced using the molding materials, to enhance environmental and economical effects.
