METHOD FOR TRACING MOTION USING MOTION VECTOR

PURPOSE: A method for tracing a motion using a motion vector is provided to trace a motion in real time by using other plurality of searching areas and a mean value of a motion vector. CONSTITUTION: A method for tracing a motion using a motion vector includes four steps. A first step establishing a search area after data are inputted from a camera, and dividing the search area into a face motion area and a mouth motion area. A second step is that a motion tracing and calculating part(103) calculates a mean value of a macro block unit face motion vector of the face motion area and confirms whether the mean value of the calculated face motion vector is larger than a predetermined critical value or not. A third step is that a motion vector storing part stores the mean value of the face motion vector when the mean value is larger than that. A fourth step is to calculate a mean value of a block unit mouth motion vector of the mouth motion area and store the mean value of the calculated mouth motion vector using the motion vector storing part when the mean value is not larger than that.
