METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRACKING LOST CHILD

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for tracking a lost child is provided to easily find the lost child by using a beacon for receiving an electronic wave and a transmitter for transmitting the electronic wave. CONSTITUTION: A data prepared by combining an intrinsic number allotted from a transmitter(10) and an individual is stored in a data base of a center. Then, a read code, the intrinsic number, and a transmitting time are transmitted into a beacon(20) from the transmitter(10) by every 30 seconds. If the beacon(20) receives the data, the data is stored in a memory of the center. A controller determines whether or not a child is missed. If the child is missed, the intrinsic number of the lost child is outputted from the memory and a data identical to the intrinsic number is outputted. By sorting the data according to time, the route of the missed child is tracked. The route is displayed in a map.
