PURPOSE: A web television set top box having a function storing an internet address is provided to easily contact to internet as selecting a required URL with a remote controller. CONSTITUTION: A web television set top box having a function storing an internet address includes a detection unit(22), a remote controller(36), a memory(30), and a micom(26). The detection unit detects an internet data from a signal for a television broadcasting. The remote controller generates a large number of key pad signals. The memory stores the large number of internet addresses on each address. The micom stores the internet address to the memory according to the key pad signal, responds to a storage order from the remote controller and stores an internet address data which is detected by the detection unit, and contacts to the internet address stored by the memory according to the selection of the remote controller when a web browser is being operated. |
