GAS GENERATOR OF AIR BAG FOR PASSENGERS

PURPOSE: A gas generator is provided to be light and prevent a diffuser from deforming and noising by integrally forming a housing and the diffuser for regularly discharging gas into a cushion. CONSTITUTION: A gas generator(18) is inserted into an inserting hole. The inserting hole is formed on the lower end of a housing(30) made into magnesium alloy or aluminium alloy. The lower end of a cushion(20) is put on a fixing unit. The fixing unit is formed in both upper sides of a diffuser(34). Then a fixing guider(42) is inserted for fixing the cushion. The cushion is contacted with the upper face of the diffuser by turning over the center and the part of the cushion is sequentially folded from both sides. In this state, the lower end of the gas generator is supported by a shaking preventer(31) to be prevented from shaking.
