PURPOSE: A printer system having a function of alarming about an output finish information is provided to inform a user that a printing is finished as soon as the finish of the printing by characters, thereby preventing waste of time for waiting the finish of the printing operation and exposure of security documents. CONSTITUTION: A printer system having a function of alarming about an output finish information includes an operation state sensor(160) for sensing a state of printing operation in a network printer, a transmitter(162) for transmitting print discharge information sensed by the operation state sensor to a host computer, an information analyzer(164) for reading the print discharge information transmitted from the transmitter to generate corresponding image information, and a user interface(166) for informing a user of the generated information, wherein the operation state sensor senses discharge of a printed paper and whether a last printed paper was discharged or not and has information on the host computer, and the information informed by the user interface is a character signal.
