PURPOSE: A method for equal use of a network is provided to use equally a network when collision is generated from a LAN of an ethernet method. CONSTITUTION: A method for equal use of a network comprises the following steps. Collision of packets are detected when a plurality of network transmits packets. A signal transmission and reception status prior to the collision of the nodes is stored as much as the number of X and monitored. The signal transmission and reception status prior to the collision of the nodes of the X number is read if the collision is detected. A new IPG(Inter Packet Gap) of the nodes is set up by determining the read node status. A standard back-off is performed after the IPG is passed. The signals of the collision nodes are transmitted again and the signal transmission and reception status is updated if transmission collision is not generated. A new IPG is set up and the standard back-off is performed, and the signals are transmitted again if transmission collision is generated.
