PURPOSE: A remote controller of a security television video cassette recorder and a controlling method thereof are provided to control the signal transfer between the outside of house and inner house wirelessly. CONSTITUTION: A remote controller of a security TVCR(television video cassette recorder) includes a first modulator, a first demodulator(21e), a key decoder(21f), a second demodulator(22c), a video and an audio signal processors(22d,22e), a deck(22f), a remote controller(22g), a remote control signal receiver(22h), a voice output(22i) and a second modulator(22k). The first modulator modulates the image signal and voice or bell signal using radio frequency modulation under the control of a door microcomputer. The first demodulator(21e) demodulates the output of the first modulator. The video and the audio signal processors(22d,22e) process the output of the second demodulator(22c). The deck(22f) stores the output of the processor.
