PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing sintered ore is provided to reduce sulfur oxides effectively through a simple process. CONSTITUTION: A spraying unit for lime sludge(13) is mounted between chargers for upper ores(11A) and sintering material(12A). After charging the upper ores into a pallet(3), the lime sludge is coated on the surface of the charged upper ores through the spraying unit. After that, the sintering material is charged and the sintering process is performed to prevent sulfur oxides from generating. That is, the lime sludge is changed into calcium oxides(CaO) and carbon dioxides(CO2) by high temperature in the sintering process. The carbon dioxides react with the sulfur oxides to generate calcium sulfate(CaSO4). The calcium sulfate is not emitted to the air and remains on the coated upper ore layer even through the absorption with a blower.
