PURPOSE: A method for high speed searching text broadcasting is provided to store the history of channels a user has selected in order to speed up the selection of text information. CONSTITUTION: A method for high speed searching text broadcasting includes five steps. At the first step, whether the history of pages is stored is determined(202). At the second step, text information signal is read and stored sequentially(204) in a vertical recursion removal time of the image signal when the history is not stored. When the history is stored(206), the pages are read and stored(214) depending on their frequencies in a predetermined parallel line interval in the vertical recursion removal time. At the third step, whether the user selects text broadcasting mode by manipulating a predetermined key(208) is determined(210). At the forth step, the corresponding page is read and displayed and the information is stored in the history when the user selects(212) the mode.
