PURPOSE: A wound core type core cutting device is provided to shorten the manufacturing time of a wound core type by continuously cutting the wound core. CONSTITUTION: A base(100) includes a positioning portion(110) in which a core is positioned to cut the core(10). A feeding device feeds the core so that the core is positioned in the positioning portion(110) which forms the base(100). A support member supports the core through a space portion(11) in the core positioned in the positioning portion(110). A cutter(118) cuts a portion of the core which is supported by the support member. A microprocessor controls the operations of the devices.
