PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing a sudden departure and recording running for vehicles is provided to clearly investigate the cause of a sudden departure by storing the state of the detailed driving operation of a driver, in addition to function of braking an engine. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing a sudden departure and recording running for vehicles includes an analog input selecting part(2) having A/D converter(3) converting RPM analog signal, speed analog signal, acceleration analog signal which selected by switching to a digital signal, a logic signal input part(6) converting a brake contact point signal, a transmission contact point signal, a starting key contact point signal to a logic signal, a rotation sensing part(9) detecting the degree of the rotation angle of a steering wheel, a controller(4) reading and controlling the input signal, an engine braking part(7) stopping the driving of the engine by receiving the control signal the controller, an alarm output part recognizing the sudden departure and the normal operation of the vehicles, and a memory enabling to store and eliminate the input signals in data storing part.
