PURPOSE: A circuit for compensating an error for time of an emission warm-up of a color CRT is provided to prevent a saturation of a specific color on the screen. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for compensating an error for time of an emission warm-up of a color CRT includes a compensation signal part, an error signal part(120), and an error controlling part(130). The compensation signal part generates a compensation signal during a horizontal blanking of a synthesized image signal. The error signal part generates en error signal of a corresponding thermionic cathode(11,12,13) having a color signal of a predetermined level or more among the thermionic cathode when the compensation signal is generated. The error controlling part deletes the thermionic emission information of the corresponding thermionic cathode according to the error signal.
