PURPOSE: A portable terminal apparatus having an automatic transfer function and an automatic transfer method of an output mode are provided to transfer all output modes of a system manually or automatically, in case that power is supplied to the system. CONSTITUTION: A body(100) forms a call line by transferring the output mode of a system to a call mode if a ring signal is received in the process of the output mode and transfers to the previous output mode in case that the call ends. An adjuster(200) is connected with the body(100) and adjusts the operation of the body(100) in short or long distance. A transmitting and receiving unit(300) connected with the body(100) or the adjuster(200) by a jack outputs a signal received through an antenna and receives a user's voice signal.
