DISCHARGE VALVE ASSEMBLY

PURPOSE: A discharge valve assembly is provided to prevent breakage of parts due to the interference between a discharge valve and a valve spring during repeated discharges of a gas through the discharge valve. CONSTITUTION: A discharge valve assembly includes a discharge cover, a discharge valve(70) and a valve spring(80). The discharge cover has a certain inner space, and a catch portion at an inner portion thereof. The discharge cover is coupled to one side of a cylinder while covering the cylinder. The discharge valve is formed in a predetermined shape and has a coupling projection(72) protruding by a certain height on central portion of a curved surface of a valve body(71) of the discharge valve(70). The discharge valve(70) opens and closes a compression volume(P) of the cylinder. The valve spring(80) is supported on the catch portion at both ends of the valve spring(80) and has a central elongated coupling-hole(81) into which the coupling projection(72) is inserted. The valve spring(80) resiliently supports the movement of the discharge valve(70). The elongated coupling-hole(81) of the valve spring(80) is formed in an elliptical shape. The major diameter of the elliptical coupling-hole(81) is larger than an outer diameter of the coupling projection(72) and the minor diameter of the elliptical coupling-hole(81) corresponds to the outer diameter of the coupling projection(72).
