POWER CONTROL APPARATUS IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A power control apparatus in a mobile communication system is provided to rapidly control the power of a signal transmitted from a terminal by estimating and controlling the power, using a synchronous burst used for frame synchronization. CONSTITUTION: A receiving signal processing part(311) converts a signal from a terminal into a mediation frequency for demodulation. A primary synchronization part(312,313) synchronizes the signal from the receiving signal processing part(311) primarily. A signal-to-noise ratio assumption part(314) assumes the signal-to-noise ratio of the signal. A power determination part(315) outputs a power control value to determine the power of the signal received from the terminal. A transmitting signal processing part(316) modulates a transmitting signal comprising the power control value output from the power determination part(315) and transmits it to the terminal. The terminal comprises a receiving signal processing part(321), a demodulation part(322), a power control part(323) and a transmitting signal processing part(324).
