PURPOSE: A system for measuring a width of a sheet or a material is provided to improve the measuring accuracy by correcting a material position when it is varied by using a line CCD and a constant image sensor. CONSTITUTION: A system for measuring a width of a sheet or a material includes a material conveyer, a correcting roller for correcting the conveying path of the material, a motor for driving the correcting roller, a light transmitting part 14 for radiating laser beams to the material(30) and a slit(16) for reflecting the laser beams to a constant image sensor(18). The constant image sensor(18) is disposed to receive the laser beam passing through the material.
